LUXURY BESPOKE TOURS
Exemplar Silver Service Tours offer the discerning traveler the opportunity to explore and experience the highlights of Tropical North Queensland in luxury. Each of our experiences offers the flexibility of “bespoke touring”, where your driver will be happy to tailor the day to your interests and take you to some truly “insta-worthy” spots. Each tour includes “hidden gems,” often known only to locals, away from the tourist hordes.
You will travel in Luxurious Silver Service limousines and people movers, under the care of a specially selected and trained chauffeur, focussed on your comfort and safety. Each vehicle provides access to Wi-Fi, magazines, cool bottled water and refreshing towelettes.
All our food options are regularly tested by management, recognized as amongst the best available, and provide options that are suitable for those needing vegan, nut-free and gluten-free alternatives.
Each day is totally bespoke, and you can linger at any of the beautiful locations as you wish. And because your day should be totally memorable, special requests can generally be catered for.

On leaving Palm Cove your chauffeur will guide you through the waving fields of sugar cane before heading up the range to Cairns’ hidden gems. As you gently meander up towards Lake Morris you will immediately feel the grandeur of nature on the city’s doorstep.
A tropical forest with delicate tree ferns, gingers and majestic palms open up before you as they drape the roadside ahead. You will marvel at the City of Cairns spread beneath the range with the Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef on the horizon.
You will arrive at the Lake Morris picnic area with its rolling lawns and panoramic vista in time for your chauffeur to set up your gourmet morning or afternoon tea. Relax and take in the amazing panorama with peaceful Lake Morris spread out beneath you and the McAllister Ranges as a back drop. You might even be able to make out the Lambs Head on the mountain in front of you.

Once you are ready to leave, you will be guided through Cairns’ affluent suburbs of Whitfield and Edge Hill, which both proudly display the charm of classic Queensland architecture.
Your chauffeur will then leave you alone to explore the Cairns Botanical Gardens at your leisure. If you love gardens, birds and butterflies then this is a fitting end to your Hidden Gems drive.
We know that this short taste of Cairns and its environs will leave pleasantly surprised and wanting more.

As you travel north to Cape Tribulation you have several options to experience, perhaps a hidden grove of fan palms, known only to the “locals”. Catch an Instagram opportunity from Alexandra Point. Explore Thornton’s Beach with its beach side café and Cape Tribulation Beach with its mangroves and easily-reached lookout platform. Take a walk back in time as you follow the The Marrdja Boardwalk deep into the rainforest itself.
Most of your day is spent taking in the grandeur of the ajoining forest and Coral Sea. Each stop is only a short drive from the previous. Morning coffee at Thornton’s Beach Café will provide a break, as well as a close-up look of the ocean, and perhaps a wade in warm, tropical waters.
Even more delightful will be lunch at the licensed Whet Restaurant at Cape Tribulation, a welcoming oasis in the forest. Since 2007, Whet Café, Bar & Restaurant has been the epicentre of dining and entertainment in the tourist village of Cape Tribulation.
|
Set amongst the beautiful tropical Daintree Rainforest, Whet combines the natural wonder of the surrounding jungle with it’s unique and casual atmosphere.
Located right in the heart of Cape Tribulation, and aptly named to “whet your appetite”, the delicious range of cuisine on offer at Whet Restaurant is sure to make your visit to the Daintree memorable.
Whet’s formula is simple: an emphasis on local produce, seafood hauled from the surrounding waters, fresh, clean flavours and a menu that oozes creative flair.
The Daintree Ice-cream Factory is also a must–do on a hot day and a fitting end to your tasting experiences.
This day is all about what you want to do. And it is entirely at your own pace. You may wish to tick every box in the Daintree, or you may prefer to chill out and daudle along.
So, pack your sun hat and camera. Then leave us to transport you to another world.
